Your 9 days tour from casablanca begins with pickup from the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. This is Morocco’s largest city and its main business hub. Start with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, the biggest mosque in Morocco, set on the Atlantic coastline.
After that, enjoy free time for lunch. Then head out to see more of the city, including the Casablanca Corniche, a stop at Rick’s Cafe, and Mohammed V Square (also known as Pigeons Square). If you arrive late, a few stops may move to the next day.
Overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, travel up the coast to Rabat, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the current capital. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Then take a break for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue north through Ouazzane and the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city known for its white-and-blue streets and buildings.

After breakfast, take time to walk through Chefchaouen’s blue alleys and small squares. Then drive to Volubilis to see the Roman ruins. The site is well preserved and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll see mosaic floors, stone columns, and old arches throughout the ruins.
Next, drive about 30 km to Meknes, once the Ismaili capital and another imperial city. Visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Basin, the royal stables, the granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After that, continue on to Fes.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your riad to explore Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual center.
The day starts with a short driving tour. Stop at the Royal Palace Gate, then visit the Mellah (the historic Jewish Quarter). Continue to Borj Sud for wide views over the old medina. You’ll also visit the Ceramic Village and School to watch local artisans at work.
Next comes the guided walking tour inside the medieval medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved old cities in the region. You’ll visit Al Attarine Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University and Mosque (often described as the oldest existing university in the world), and the Chouara Tanneries, where leather is still dyed using traditional methods.
Return to your riad afterward and enjoy some downtime.
After breakfast, head south through Imouzzer to Ifrane. The town is known for cold winters, snow, and alpine-style homes, which is why many people call it the Switzerland of Morocco.

In the afternoon, continue toward Merzouga via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and along the Ziz Valley. You’ll stop along the way for panoramic views and photos.
Once you arrive in Merzouga, switch to camels and ride across the dunes. Stop on a high dune to watch the sunset, then continue to your desert camp.
